it worked ok to good for my project. it was the 60 grit and I thought it would sand better as I was working on pine logs for log beds. I  used it on a drill press and ran at low rpm's. it really varied on the log and the amount it took off the log color. the logs were very smooth when done. I am glad I bought the flap wheel
