Replacements P150

Replacement flap strips in grit P150 come as 28-strip sets for the re-flappable QuickWood hub. Pick your flap height below (45mm standard or 65mm tall), then choose width and grit on the product page — every grit from P60 to P320 is in stock.

When to use P150 flap strips

P150 is the last raw-wood grit for most staining work: it closes out the smoothing sequence and leaves hardwood with a fine, even scratch pattern that takes color uniformly — the difference between a clean stain job and a blotchy one on shaped parts is usually whether the whole profile saw the same final grit.

Before and after P150

Come from P120; do not jump here straight from P80. After staining and sealing, the between-coats work belongs to P180 through P320. Under very light or natural finishes some shops stop raw sanding at P150 deliberately, since going finer can burnish dense hardwoods and lighten stain uptake.

Fitting these strips

28-strip sets for the re-flappable hub, in 45mm standard or 65mm tall trim for deep profiles. Strips swap in minutes so a single hub covers the whole sequence. The grit guide covers which grit finishes which job.
