The 8" flap wheel
The 8" opens the bench range: mounted on a 3/4" bore spindle on a bench motor or table sander, it brings enough diameter for real production pace on doors, panels and repeat parts while staying manageable for edge work. It is also the size the double-grip F15 air tool swings — up to 400 W for edge and panel sanding in hand-held form.
Choosing grit and trim
All grits P60–P320 fit as 28-strip replacement sets; 45mm standard trim for most profiles, 65mm tall for deep ones. The grit guide covers which grit closes which stage.
Up or down from 8"
The 10" and 12" wheels add diameter and — in their denser 44-slot hub versions — more strips per revolution for faster cutting and longer life between changes. Hand-held work stays with the 4". The spindle-vs-shank decision is laid out in mounted flap wheels.
