The 4" flap wheel
The 4" is the general-purpose size: big enough to cover cabinet doors, drawer fronts and furniture parts at working speed, small enough to follow curves and stay controllable in one hand. It mounts drill-attached on a chuck shank for any hand drill, or runs on the pneumatic F6 air tool, whose 900 rpm is the sweet spot for cabinet and furniture work — fast enough to cut, slow enough never to burn.
Choosing grit and trim
All grits P60–P320 fit as 28-strip replacement sets on the re-flappable hub; 45mm standard trim suits most door and molding profiles, 65mm tall trim reaches profiles deeper than about 1.5 inches. The grit guide maps grits to jobs.
